Continuous Clinical Learning is a collaborative learning platform founded by International Medical Graduates (IMGs) from Myanmar who are re-establishing their medical careers in Australia. Coming from diverse experiences in clinical practice, public health, health research, and humanitarian work, we share a common goal — to uphold the standards of safe, ethical, and patient-centred medical care.

This blog documents our continuing journey of professional development as we prepare for Australian Medical Council (AMC) assessments and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Through shared study reflections, clinical reviews, and discussions on health systems and ethics, we strengthen the competencies expected of medical practitioners in Australia — critical thinking, evidence-based reasoning, teamwork, and cultural responsiveness.

Continuous Clinical Learning is not only about examination preparation; it is about maintaining professional identity, integrity, and curiosity as lifelong learners. We aim to connect the skills we built in global and crisis contexts with Australia’s healthcare standards, while supporting one another to grow as safe, reflective, and compassionate doctors.
